Near-drowning lands Durban boy (3) in hospital
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
A three-year-old boy
is in a critical condition in hospital after nearly drowning in a swimming pool
in Yellowwood Park, south of Durban.

Medics say the child's mother rescued him before neighbours sprang into action and began performing life-saving CPR.
ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says they were called to the Wren Way home in the afternoon.
"Paramedics found the community had rescued the 3-year-old little boy out of the pool. Initial reports show that a successful resuscitation had taken place by the community members and we applaud them for their effort as CPR definitely saves lives.
