NCR warns cash-strapped consumers to avoid Black Friday

The National Credit Regulator is urging consumers to avoid partaking in this year's Black Friday if they haven't budgeted for it.
The NCR says people must also avoid financial strain and not use credit, by spending money they do not have.
This as some retailers have already announced that its sale deals will start early this year.
Alfred Matsimbi says people who buy on credit end up paying far more than what was intended.

He says they often see many of the consumers are being tempted to spend money they don't have.
"This includes using their credit cards. That is unfortunately dangerous."
"It has a negative impact on their credit, as there are many other charges that come with buying on credit. many people who participate in Black Friday have the intention of saving money," he says.
