Nathaniel Julies murder trial to start from scratch

The trial of three police officers accused of killing Eldorado Park teenager Nathaniel Julies is set to start afresh next week.
It follows the death of Judge Ramarumo Monama, who presided over the case.
Judge Cassim Moosa will now preside as proceedings start from scratch from Monday.

The 16-year-old boy with Down Syndrome was shot and killed near his home in August 2020.
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate says the officers will also face charges of defeating the ends of justice.
