'Naked' runner struck and killed on Durban's N2
A man has been killed after being struck by a car on the N2's Southbound carriageway approaching Spaghetti Junction in Durban.
Reports from the scene suggest the man had been running naked in the road.
Crisis Medical's Kyle van Reenen says medics found the pedestrian lying in the road when they arrived.
"Sadly he sustained fatal head injuries and was declared dead on arrival. Despite severe damage to the vehicle involved, the driver of the vehicle didn't sustain any injuries. He was checked out on scene and given a clean bill of health," he said.
