N3 crash near Paradise Valley causes traffic delays
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
A crash involving a minibus taxi and truck on the N3 just before the Paradise Valley interchange has brought traffic to a partial standstill.
Authorities are warning motorists to avoid the N3 from Durban to Pietermaritzburg.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says the fully-loaded taxi rear-ended the heavy goods truck.
"The total counts at this stage is 15 patients that are being treated on the scene. SAPS and RTI is in attendance. The roadway is pretty much blocked - there's only two lanes trickling past the accident scene thus causing a severe blacklog all the way to the Pavilion," he says.
