A 21-year-old KwaZulu-Natal man wanted for murder has been tracked down to his hideout in Durban.
It's alleged the suspect and the victim got into a fight over alcohol in Nsuze in northern KZN on Saturday night.
The police's Thembeka Mbele says the man was arrested in Greenwood Park.
“A group of friends were consuming alcohol in a homestead. An argument broke out between two males when one of them wanted to leave with the alcohol.
“The suspect and the deceased Lindokuhle Mkhize (27) had a physical fight where the suspect was beaten. The perpetrator took out of knife and stabbed the victim once on the left side of the chest. Mkhize succumbed to his injury at the scene.”
The man will appear in court in Maphumulo on Wednesday, where he will face a charge of murder.
