Murder accused to appear in court tomorrow for cop husband's killing

A Westville woman accused of shooting and killing her police officer husband in an alleged domestic dispute, will make her first appearance in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court tomorrow.

The 43-year-old man -who was stationed at the Inanda Police Station - was allegedly shot and killed by his wife at their Jupiter Road home, in the early hours of Friday.

Police spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele says police arrested the 42-year-old woman moments after the incident.
"The accused in the murder case in which a police officer was shot and killed on Friday, will appear in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court," she said.
