Updated | By Lauren Beukes
A consignment of much-awaited new laptops will be received by NSFAS today much to the relief of registered students funded through the aid scheme.

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme announced on Tuesday that it's following the mandate from Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande.
In a statement it says it's gone into several consultations with stakeholders to ensure a successful rollout.
The aid scheme adds that consultations with the university sector are nearing completion. NSFAS is encouraging students to order their devices through their website www.nsfas.org.za,
To complete an order students must provide their ID number, student number, contact details, name of the institution they are registered with, campus name and home address.
Lack of the digital learning devices have been among grievances for protesting university students in KZN.
