MSC Orchestra crew expected to disembark today

The remaining crew of the MSC Orchestra cruise liner that has been docked at the Durban Harbour for several days is expected to disembark today.

The vessel returned from a five-day cruise to the Portuguese Islands on Friday.
Officials say the over 2 400 passengers were broken up into groups of 100 and safely and slowly disembarked.
There was 929 crew on-board, 226 are still on the ship.

Acting CEO of South African Maritime Safety Authority, Sobantu Tilayi, says while the ship did set sail - the passengers didn't disembark onto foreign lands.
"None of the passengers disembarked when it went to the Portuguese Island and the Mozambican waters until it got back to the port."
"Most of the passengers are South African nationals, we do have other foreign nationals that are also residents in South Africa and it is important to note that."
