Mr D driver handed his marching orders
Updated | By Nushera Soodylal
Mr D Food has condemned the actions of a Pietermaritzburg driver who allegedly exposed himself to a customer after delivering food to her home.
A video of the incident has been circulated widely on social media today and sparked outrage on Twitter.
It shows a man - dressed in a Mr D Food uniform - handing over food to a customer, at a driveway gate.
Once the customer has received the food, the driver is seen putting a receipt into a bag and then touching himself, in full view of a camera.
The company says the man's contract has been terminated with immediate effect and that it has already made contact with the family concerned.
Mr D Foods has also apologised for the incident, describing the driver's actions as unacceptable.
