Mpumalanga police probing deaths of siblings who ate noodles
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Police in Embalenhle are investigating the deaths of two siblings who died after allegedly eating noodles for breakfast.

The siblings, aged 9 and 13 years, both died last week Tuesday.
Mpumalanga police spokesperson Busisiwe Mthethwa says police cannot yet confirm the cause of the death.
"There are allegations that they had a packet of noodles for breakfast, but we as police cannot confirm that. Only a post mortem result can confirm that."
The deaths of the two siblings follows on the heels of three siblings who passed away in the Eastern Cape.
Ngwedu siblings Sinothando (11), Olwami (7) and 4-month-old Athenkosi also died after allegedly consuming noodles at a relative’s place.
The trio died while they were being transported to healthcare facilities after becoming sick at home.
