Motshekga to announce 2017 matric exam results

The wait is almost over for the class of 2017.
While some KZN matrics say they're very nervous about the release of their results - others say they're more worried about their application for tertiary studies.
Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga is set to announce the results later today. We'll find out who the top performing pupils and provinces are.
More than 780 000 candidates wrote the National Senior Certificate papers last year.

The IEB exam results were released yesterday - matrics from private schools achieved a pass rate of 98.7%.
