Motorists warned of road closures amid Mitchell Bridge repairs
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
Motorists on the south coast are being asked to plan their trips around a total road closure on the CH Mitchell Bridge.

The South African National Roads Agency is closing the route for two hours daily in February near the Wild Coast Sun resort on the R61.
The bridge runs across the Mtamvuna River south of Port Edward.
The road agency's Siphesihle Mthembu says they're doing structural repairs between midday and two in the afternoon.

“The intermittent full closure of the Mitchell Bridge will take place from the 6th of February on the R61. The North and South bound traffic will be unable to cross the bridge at the set times.
“There are no immediate alternative routes for these scheduled road closures and road users are requested to plan their trips for the stated disruption."
