Motorists warned of violent protests near Mooi Toll Plaza

Motorists travelling on the N3 near the Mooi Toll Plaza in KZN are being urged to be extra alert and cautious due to protests in the area.

It's understood the community of Bruntville took to the streets on Monday.
It's not yet known what the residents are unhappy about.

"Protestors involved in the Bruntville community protest are reportedly attempting to disrupt traffic flow by throwing objects at passing motorist," says the N3 Toll concession's Thania Dhoongra.
"Law enforcement officials are monitoring the situation and maintaining a highly visable presence in the area."
