Motorists urged to avoid R603 following horror crash
More than 50 school children have been injured in Umbumbulu on the KZN South Coast after a bus transporting them overturned.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says it's not yet clear what caused the crash.
Jamieson is urging motorists to avoid the R603 as recovery operations are underway.
"Multiple ambulances are on scene along with all other emergency services and are attending to the injured before transporting them to various hospitals. I suggest that all motorists avoid the area at all costs as there will be a lot of emergency vehicles," he said.
