Motorists set to pay more for fuel in March
Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
Another fuel price increase seems to be on the cards for motorists in March.
That's according to the Automobile Association, which has been commenting on unaudited data from the Central Energy Fund.
The AA says petrol could go up by between R1.15 and R1.20 a litre, depending on the grade.
Diesel could see an increase of around R1.18 a litre.
Illuminating paraffin may rise by 63 cents.

"The main driver behind the increases is high international product prices, in addition to the higher average rand/US dollar exchange rate,” said the association's spokesperson Layton Beard.
“While the weaker rand is contributing a small margin to the under-recovery, an increase in prices is expected next month. The overall picture still looks bleak, and consumers will feel the pinch.”
