Motorist charged for death of KwaDukuza traffic cop
Police are
investigating a case of culpable homicide against a motorist who crashed his
car into a KwaDukuza traffic officer.
"A 51-year-old motorist was arrested on Tuesday afternoon for the incident which led to the death of a 54-year-old traffic officer along the R102 in KwaDukuza
The officer was carrying out his duties between Darnall and KwaDukuza.

Provincial police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says despite attempts by medics to resuscitate him the officer, who'd suffered critical injuries, died.
"Reports indicate that the suspect drove into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle where the superintendent was situated. He succumbed to his injuries."
