Motorist arrested for allegedly verbally assaulting officer

Caught on camera, a motorist has been arrested in Johannesburg for allegedly assaulting a metro police officer.
The video - posted on Francois Nel's Facebook page - the footage shows a man being pulled from his car by a group of officers.
The Johannesburg Metro Police Department has confirmed they were aware of the incident which occurred in Midrand.
JMPD spokesperson, Wayne Minnaar, was quoted as saying the driver was stopped for reckless driving before the scuffle ensued.

Accused of racial slurs, in the video the driver exclaims "I've never called anyone that word!".
It has since been viewed 57 000 times and shared by over 2000 Facebook users.
This incident comes as student activist and Oxford University alumni Ntokozo Qwabe took to Facebook to state he and a friend refused to tip a waitress, and instead wrote "We will give tip when you return the land" on the bill.
While Matthew Theunissen posted a racist rant on his Facebook account referring to Minister Mbalula's decision to ban some sporting bodies from hosting major world tournaments.
