More suspects arrested in fatal Greytown shootout

Three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the shootout at the small KwaZulu-Natal settlement of Seven Oaks near Greytown.
Six robbers were shot dead by police hours after they had staged a robbery in the settlement approximately one-month ago.
Today, crime fighting authorities swooped on KwaMashu Hostel during a crime blitz.
The three suspects were arrested and an unlicensed firearm and 78 rounds of ammunition, confiscated.

Spokesperson Thulani Zwane says that suspects aged between 21 and 32 were detained at Camperdown police station and will appear in court soon.
''The recovered firearm will be sent for ballistic tests to check if it was used in any other crimes in the province or in the country,'' he said.
