More rainfall expected in KZN

With more rainfall predicted for KZN for most of the week, local government authorities say disaster management teams are on the ground across the province ready to attend to any emergencies.
Officials say there were no reports of weather-related casualties this weekend but they are still assessing the damage due to heavy rains experienced.
According to forecasts by the South African Weather Service, the chance of rain for KZN for the remainder of the week ranges between 30 and 6%.

Spokesperson, Lennox Mabaso is reminding us to remain vigilant.
"We have now entered the summer season which is prone to disasters such as flooding, heavy rains and lightning strikes. We urge people to exercise extra caution, we don't want to lose lives unnecessarily. We also want to encourage people to heed instructions from disaster personnel. Our teams are all over the province, on alert to assist," he says.
