More rain forecast for KZN
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Isolated showers and thunder showers are still to continue for most parts of the province. The SA Weather Service's Thandiwe Gumede says some isolated showers and thundershowers can be expected for most of KwaZulu-Natal, except in the extreme west.

She says this includes the Drakensberg, Newcastle, Ladysmith, Underberg, Giant’s Castle and Matatiele.
“The skies will start to clear in these areas but it will still remain cold,” Gumede says.
Heavy rains and strong winds swept through the province earlier this week, causing flooding in areas along the coast and northern parts of KZN.
Three teenagers were reported to have passed away during the course of yesterday.
They drowned whilst trying to cross the Matimofu river after school.
The bodies of Nontethelelo Mcanyana, Sinikiwe Mpanza and Zenande Gumede were recovered from the King Cetshwayo, uMkhanyakude and Zululand districts.
The children had been aged between 14 and 18.
The Department of Co-operative Governance's Msawakhe Mayisela says Disaster Management teams have not had to be dispatched since then.
“There aren’t many people who have been displaced,” he says.
Mayisela says those who were affected, were moved to community halls and the likes and that the department’s teams remain there to assist if need be.
