More giant swells predicted for KZN
The SA Weather Service says there's a strong possibility we will in the future experience the massive waves seen on the Durban beachfront on Sunday.
Waves on the southern parts of the province - including areas between East London and Port Edward - will tomorrow increase to a height of four metres.
This comes after tidal waves hit the shores of Durban beaches at the weekend partially due to tropical depression, Enawo that landed in Madagascar.
SAWS says a spring tide, a cold front and strong winds along the coast resulted in the rising sea swells.

Beaches and restaurants along the Durban coast were affected while images of the aftermath showed large amounts of sand spewed along the promenade, and concrete blocks uprooted.
SAWS' Thandiwe Gumede says adverse weather conditions - being brought about by a cold front - are expected to continue this week.
The damage caused along the beachfront is estimated to be between and R5-million and R10-million, excluding losses incurred by affected restaurants.
