More charges added in AKA murder case

Wednesday morning saw a new development in the murder case of rapper Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes and Tebello Motsoane.
Five of the seven suspects accused of carrying out the alleged hit on Florida Road last year made their second appearance in a Durban court.
The men appeared briefly in court 11.
The State first indicated that the accused now face two new charges.
The first new charge is against accused number four, Mziwethemba Gwabeni, who is believed to be the coordinator in the murder plot.

It’s for a charge of money laundering.
Accused 1, Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, number 2, Lindani Ndimande and number 5, Lindokuhle Ndimande face a charge of benefiting from proceedings of money laundering.
The four and accused number three, Eddie Myeza, some who allegedly all have links to the taxi industry already face 10 charges, which include conspiracy to commit murder, attempted murder and unlawful possession of a firearm.
All the accused were remanded into custody at Westville Prison until their bail application begins next week Thursday.
