More boots on the ground for safety, says Chikunga

Sindisiwe Chikunga says there’ll be more boots on the ground to ensure
motorists comply with road safety rules over the long Christmas weekend.

Chikunga says drunk driving remains a huge concern.
She was delivering an update on the department’s safety awareness campaign in the Free State yesterday.

"We are so concerned, about the heave drinking that is happening and therefore the any misbehaviour that is happening on our roads particularly on our residential areas."
