KwaZulu-Natal detectives have made another breakthrough in the Normandien murder case.

The Raffertys were ambushed and killed on their farm a month-and-a-half ago - as they returned home from an outing in Newcastle.

He remains behind bars after abandoning bail.

"The suspects are in custody pending further investigation. A vehicle suspected to be used in the commission of the crime was also seized as part of the ongoing probe."
