Moerane Commission: Ndlozi attributes political violence to lack of resources

The Commission of Inquiry looking into the underlying causes of political killing in KZN has heard squabbles over limited resources has been the legacy of black communities.

It's the testimony of the EFF's Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.

"Black people have always been locked in spaceless conditions contesting over limited resources - subject to violence from the authorities to stay in those conditions and as a result, spreading that violence amongst each other," Ndlozi says.  

Ndlozi has told the Moerane Commission of Inquiry limited resources has led to fighting and killings among black people.

He says it's something the ANC has now used to its own advantage instead of putting an end to it.

"They're not killing each other as ANC people - they are killing each other as human beings. The same way criminals kill other people who are helpless in the streets and so forth," he says.
