Mmusi Maimane launches new political party

Build One South Africa founder Mmusi Maimane says he did not start a political party because its easy but because he still believes in the values of Ubuntu.
On Saturday, Maimane launched his own party, making bold promises on how they would better run the country if elected into power.
Build One SA is made up of independent candidates interested in contesting provincial and national elections in 2024.
The former DA leader was addressing a small audience of supporters in Soweto.
"We believe human beings can be brought together by values of justice, diversity and a future for South Africa. We strongly believe as we stand here together that, we can build a parliament that if filled with the best leaders in this country.
"That's why from henceforth I am not just standing for president, but I want the best cabinet in 2024 that is made up of people of different places."
