President Dunstan Mlambo will on Thursday make his case next for why he should
be the country's next chief justice
He's the third candidate on the Judicial Service Commission's shortlist for the top job.
President of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Judge Mandisa Maya, who was interviewed on Wednesday, said that she believes specialised courts would only work if more resources are made available to the justice system.

She's told commissioners the over-burdened court roll is due to a lack of presiding officers but says there's no truth to reports that the judiciary is in crisis.
"The judiciary is not in crisis as some have lamented. It is not perfect but there is still an efficient system administration in place but there is a lot of work to be done to get the institution working optimally to execute this constitutional mandate.”
