Updated | By Jacaranda FM
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize says Phase Two vaccination rollout went well on Monday, besides interruptions in some provinces.

The minister says the campaign proceeded as planned in the Free State, despite the violent protests in Mangaung on the first day of the mass vaccination drive.
Mkhize says the exact number of vaccines administered could be announced from Tuesday.

"Although most of the sites were able to proceed, a large number of vaccinations were captured on paper and the numbers are still being reconciliated.
"In addition, the numbers vaccinated at old age homes still need to be captured," says the minister.
A total of 478 733 vaccines were administered during the Sisonke study that came to an end over the past weekend.
