Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
A toddler that went missing on the north coast three days ago has been found.

The two-year-old girl had been playing with her friends outside her home Sundumbili on Monday when she disappeared.
The family reported her missing on Tuesday after they tried looking for her.
IPSS Medical Rescue's Paul Herbst says a search and rescue team went out to the area last night but didn't find the family at their homestead.

Herbst says units went back on Wednesday.
"This time, the scene was located. Upon arrival of rescue units it was established that the young girl had just been found by community members, after reportedly being lost for three days.
"The child was dehydrated, treated and stabilised by IPSS Medical Rescue's advanced life support paramedics before being transported through to a hospital.”
