Missing Dukuduku girl found after almost a week

A three-year-old girl, who went missing from her northern KZN home in Dukuduku has been found alive.

Her family's confirmed the news, saying the child is being treated for severe dehydration at a local hospital.
Yamkelwa Ndlanzi was last seen on Saturday.
Her mother said she was playing with their neighbour, a three-year-old boy, in their backyard in Khula Village.
Police say when her mother went to check on her after an hour, she couldn't find her daughter.
Spokesperson, Thembeka Mbele says officers found little Yamkelwa Ndlanzi on Thursday in the pit next to a home that is still in the process of being constructed and she was extremely dehydrated.
"She had no injuries and was taken to hospital for check-ups. She was also reunited with her family."
Police are investigating the circumstances around her disappearance.
