Ministers swearing-in ceremony gets underway today

Parliament says the country's newly appointed cabinet ministers, will be sworn in today.
Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng will preside over the ceremony. President Cyril Ramaphosa announced his cabinet in Pretoria last night.
COSATU's Zingiswa Losi says the trade union giant is excited about the number of women and young people in the new administration.
For the first time, 50% of the executive are women.
"We have always maintained that we want to see young people indeed given space to lead. We appreciate and understand that the kind of country that we have - we are able to interface with the rest of the world and a young generation that is very energetic," Losi said.

All ministers will all have to sign performance agreements.
"I will be signing performance agreements with each and everyone of the ministers and deputy ministers which will be evaluated regularly against clearly stated targets and clearly stated performance outcomes. Where implementation is unsatisfactory - action will be taken."
