Minister praises KZN south coast Home Affairs official

Scottburgh Home Affairs official, Nosipho Mkhupheka says she always puts herself in the shoes of those who visit the department's office on the south coast.
Mkhupheka has been praised on social media for going beyond the call of duty at the office based in Park Rynie.
Social media user, Marius Botha made a post last week acknowledging Mkhupheka for her dedication by working beyond office hours to help people needing Home Affairs services.
His spokesperson, Siya Qoza says Mkhupheka has been with the department for 30 years.
"The minister acknowledged the fact that Mkhupheka continuously goes beyond the call of duty to deliver services. She is a shining example of many of our colleagues at Home Affairs who are dedicated to doing their jobs with integrity."
Mkhupheka says the post and subsequent acknowledgement came as a surprise.

The massive outpouring of support for Mkhupheka prompted Minister Siyabonga Cwele to make an unannounced visit to the office yesterday.His spokesperson, Siya Qoza says Mkhupheka has been with the department for 30 years.

Mkhupheka says the post and subsequent acknowledgement came as a surprise.
She said it is a team effort and her colleagues, Elvis Mavundla and Malcolm Ratube, who had also been working after hours that day, left just before the photo that was shared online was taken.
