Mhlathuze Water denies lying about water projects
Updated | By Jarryd Subroyen
Senior officials at Mhlathuze Water have denied allegations that they lied about how millions of Rands, earmarked for a drought relief project and water services, were spent.

The Zululand District Municipality says it does not believe that the utility used the R185-million on developmental projects in northern KwaZulu-Natal's Abaqulusi and Nongoma areas.
CEO Mthokozisi Duze says they have provided more than 6,000 homes with access to running water for the first time.
"I sent an invitation to his office and he chose not to come with us to do the in loco inspections," he said,
Mayor Thulasizwe Buthelezi claims he has nt seen the projects nor how they have benefited communities.
