Mechanic ‘mistakenly’ drives car into Ballito restaurant
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
The owner of a restaurant in Ballito says she's devastated after she was forced to close her business temporarily.

Two staff members were injured when a car crashed into Sai Pure Vegetarian on Monday.
Owner Natasha Alan says the establishment was badly damaged.
"There was a vehicle that was parked in front of the shop because it was being panel beat, and the guy who was in the vehicle apparently mistakenly drove into the shop, which landed into the kitchen and injured two of the staff members that were on duty, destroying the entire shop."
Alan says her employees are recovering.

"We're very sad because we built this, and this is our source of income, and we have staff members working for us and they've been injured now.
"It’s just devastating for us. It’s going be a long time until we recover from this."
She says it's going to take a while for them to get back on their feet.
"Now we need all the help we can get because this is our bread and butter. Now we’ll just have to wait on insurance companies and all of that to give us a go-ahead."
