Mbalula urges witnesses in Glebelands killings to come forward

The police minister has promised protection to those who provide investigators with information into any of the killings that have taken place at Geleblands Hostel.

Fikile Mbalula visited the violence-ridden Durban hostel this afternoon.
"I encourage all people with valuable information, not to fear. Police, under my supervision, will place candidates whose lives will be in genuine danger immediately into witness protection programmes. We must assist the public as a whole by coming forward with any information you may have. Many of these crimes of murder involve corruption and abuse of state resources," he says.
