Mbalula: Officials will return to KZN to continue flood assessments
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula says officials will return to KZN this week to continue their assessment of the damage to infrastructure caused by the floods.
Mbalula on Monday launched the October Transport Month campaign in Pretoria, where he said our province will be a high priority.
Many of KZN's roads, bridges and other infrastructure were left in ruins when torrential rains battered province earlier this year.

Mbalula says they haven't forgotten the province.
"People say we went to KwaZulu-Natal we promised people things and we left them so as part of this month we will go back to KwaZulu-Natal, led by Sanral and Prasa, to again give a report and to showcase the work that has been done to recover the infrastructure that has collapsed."
