Help us prevent police killings: Mbalula
Updated | By Anelisa Kubheka
Minister of Police Fikile Mbalula is urging South Africans
to work with authorities in a bid to curb police killings.

Mbalula had been speaking in Manguzi, in northern KZN today, where slain Warrant Officer Sipho Mthethwa was laid to rest.
Mthethwa was gunned down in the line of duty on Wednesday.
He was shot when approaching a vehicle with fake registration plates.
The department’s Vuyo Mhaga says police can’t fight crime alone.
“Police are the protectors of society, but they must not die at the hands of criminals. They must be able to protect themselves and the lives of South Africans,” he said.Show's Stories
