Mayor to update residents of strike-hit eThekwini
Updated | By Newswatch
The eThekwini mayor will update residents on the city’s service delivery recovery plan this week.
A prolonged strike by municipal workers affiliated with the South African Municipal Workers Union has left the city in a state with uncollected refuse piling up in communities, risking residents' health.
Some households have also spent days without water or electricity as their outages have not been attended to.
