The Class of 2022 is sitting for their final NSC exams.
Education psychologist Nosipho Mkhwanazi says during what can be a stressful period, family support can make a world of difference in a child's life.
"So we would say at this time to be together, to support each other. One of the things that are very important is caring, to give unconditional love and support.
"To say 'Yes I am expecting you to do well in your exams, but I love you with or without and 'A', with or with a Bachelor, I still love you no matter what results you get as long as you give your best’."
Mkhwanazi has some advice for pupils buckling under academic pressure.

"It is not a do or die moment kind of a thing. You can make it, just calm down and focus on your abilities. I would encourage every student to affirm themselves of their ability."
