Mastermind, traditional healer in court for DA councillor murder
Updated | By Celumusa Zulu
Two suspects including a traditional leader are due to appear in court in Howick Howick Magistrate’s Court on Thursday in connection with the murder of a DA councillor.

Nhlalayenza Ndlovu was gunned down at his home in Mpophomeni in December 2023.
Police say the 56-year-old inkosi and a 26-year-old man, who allegedly planned the hit from behind bars at Pietermaritzburg Prison, will join two others already in custody.
DA provincial leader, Francois Rodgers, says they remain hopeful of justice for Nlodvu's family.

"What our objective was by appointing the forensic investigation team was to try and work with SAPS to try and speed up the arrests and get a conclusion to the murder.
"At least now we have these two arrests, and we trust that the prosecuting authority now has its act in order.”
Members of the DA leadership are expected to attend the court proceedings.
