Mashatile urges ANC ‘to go back and fix what’s broken’

ANC Deputy President Paul Mashatile says it's
time for the party to return to the drawing board and fix what's broken.

Mashatile made the remarks before the party's 112th birthday celebration on Monday.
He said the ANC leadership has decided this is the time for renewal and rebuilding.
President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the party's January 8th statement to scores of supporters at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga on Saturday.
Mashatile said the party has had its fair share of challenges.

"This house is 112 years old, I lived in it for more than 40 years, so I've seen this house, so when I say it will never fall, I didn't read that in the book, this is a house that I grew up in."
He said they are also aware of party members trying to destroy it.
"The ANC has got people who are trying to break the windows of this house. They are trying to kick the doors, but it will stand because we who want it to stand are there, so it will never fall."
