Details around the woman's near fatal fall are still unclear. According Netcare 911 emergency services she was found lying on the grass behind an electric fence of the property. The service's Chris Botha says paramedics carefully managed to get over the electric fencing in order to reach her.

"Once paramedics managed to stabilise her the fire department then had to assist in putting up a rope system from the balcony from which she fell and then hoist her back up there and inside the building," he said.

"Once inside the building they put her on a stretcher and took her down the stairway to an ambulance. She was in a serious condition and paramedics transported her under the care of Advanced Life Support paramedics to a hospital for further care," Botha said.
