Mapisa-Nqakula graft case moved to high court

The corruption case against the former Speaker of the National Assembly has been moved to the high court for trial.
Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula is accused of soliciting bribes from military contractors when she was the minister of defence.
She appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate’s court this morning, where she was indicted.

Magistrate VL Mahlangu says the matter will next be heard in the high court in October.
"You are currently on bail, and your bail is extended."
