Man's dismembered body found on KwaMashu Highway

KwaZulu-Natal police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a crash on KwaMashu Highway that left a pedestrian dead.
He was struck by a light delivery vehicle on the M25 on Tuesday.

Emer-G-Med Paramedics spokesperson Kyle van Reenen says the occupants of the vehicle were not hurt.
"On arrival on scene, the crew were met with carnage as the deceased remains of an adult male lay strewn across the road.
"Due to the high impact of the collision, the victim's left leg was amputated and found lying on the northbound carriageway, whilst his body was located on the southern side."

"The man was declared dead on arrival of paramedics and the scene was handed over to the South African Police Services."
