Man's body recovered from Umlazi River

The body of a man who drowned in the uMlazi River has been recovered.
It's understood the 20-year-old man from KwaDengezi fell from a cliff and into the river yesterday.
Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the man was being baptized in the river.
"It is alleged that a local pastor was conducting a baptism in the Umlazi River at 4am yesterday. During the ceremony, a 24-year-old man fell into the waters and disappeared into the river. A search was conducted until late yesterday but the victim was not found," Gwala said.
