Man’s body found at Cuttings Beach in Durban

The body of a man
has been recovered from Cuttings Beach in Merebank, south of Durban.

PT Alarm's Tactical Unit spokesperson Dhevan Govindasamy says they received a call from a resident on Monday.
"A resident was going to the beach to check out the scenery when he discovered something that looked human in the water. He immediately contacted me and we went out to investigate. We established that it was the body of a man, who seemed to be between 30 and 40 years old."

Govindasamy says they called search and rescue officials to the scene.
"The body was decomposed, I think this
happened over the weekend. The SAPS will investigate."
