Manhunt for suspects behind Port Shepstone taxi rank shooting

There's a manhunt for the gunmen who opened fire on a minibus taxi in Port Shepstone, killing four people.
The attack took place at the taxi rank in the CBD on Tuesday afternoon.
KZN police spokesperson Jay Naicker says the assailants targeted the occupants of one of the taxis.
"The motive for the shooting is unknown and is subject to a police investigation. Detectives are investigating four counts of murder and four of attempted murder.
"We are appealing to anyone who has information that can assist in the investigation to contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111."

KwaZulu-Private Ambulance Service's Craig Botha was one of the first responders at the scene.
"We found a flurry of people very bewildered and unaware of exactly what was going on. There was a limited amount of paramedics for the amount of patients that there were so, the paramedics were strategically treating the most serious patients and progressively moving them off to hospital.
"There was one critically injured patient that required the intervention of advanced life support paramedics. Two patients were also injured in trying to run away from the commotion that had just occurred."
