Manhunt for suspects in deadly Mayville robbery
KwaZulu-Natal police are searching for four armed robbers who are on the run after shooting dead a security guard in Mayville.
Another guard was wounded when the gang hit a business on Durban's Jan Smuts Highway on Tuesday and held up staff.
KZN police spokesperson Thembeka Mbele says they're investigating murder and attempted murder charges.
"They took cash and robbed security guards of their two shotguns. A security guard believed to be 35 years was shot in the head and died at the scene.
"Another employee was shot on the hand and arm and was taken to hospital. The suspects fled the scene in their getaway vehicle."
