Manhunt launched for Scottburgh cop killers
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
A manhunt has been launched for the suspects
who shot and killed a police officer on the KZN south coast.
Hawks members say the 23-year-old was driving on the N2 near Scottburgh when he was attacked on Thursday night.
A colleague who was following him in a separate car had a puncture.
Hawks spokesperson Simphiwe Mhlongo says they both stopped on the side of the road to sort it out.

"They both jumped out of their cars. When they were trying to change the tyre, two suspects appeared and demanded cell phones and there was a scuffle and a shot was fired. He was injured and declared dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made at this stage. Hawks members from the Port Shepstone Serious Organised Crime are investigating a case of murder."
